A focused mind is a happy mind.
An unfocused mind is an UNHAPPY mind.
Don't chase more "free time".
You don't want to lay around at the beach all day.
That won't make you happy.
Every big entrepreneur says this...
The process is the most enjoyable part of reaching success.
Working hard makes you more happy than laying around on a yacht all day.
Sounds weird right?
I know it's hard to understand when you never lain around on a yacht.
That's why we should LEARN from that mistake.
The mistake of thinking that more free time makes you happier.
That's NOT the case.
You want freedom to work on the things you LIKE.
Not to not work at all.
Change your goal.
ACTIONABLE STEP:
Identify your flowstate task.
Flowstate = Your mind is empty, you don't get ANY distracting thought. It's just you, and the moment.
It can be:
- Writing
- Reading
- Speaking
- Working out
What's your flowstate task?
Identify it.
And then double down on it.
You will live a 10x better life.
I am not exaggerating.
Make sure your flowstate task isn't something degenerate.
It better not be watching p*rn.
You may be in a flowstate while watching it.
But it will make your life WORSE the more you do it.
Find your productive flowstate task.
And you will live life at its PEAK.
A flowstate usually lasts around 90 minutes.
But you can still ENHANCE your flowstate experience:
- Drink coffee
- Sleep enough
- Don't eat junk food
Becoming more mindful is non negotiable.
It's the KEY to unlock long lasting happiness.
Less daydreaming.
More action.
That's what you want.
